Robust Online Demo

Online communities generate major economic value and form pivotal parts of corporate expertise management, marketing, product support, CRM, product innovation and advertising. Communities can exceed millions of users, and infrastructures must support hundreds of millions of discussion threads, blogs, wikis, etc. that link together billions of content entities in communities.

ROBUST is targeted at developing methods to understand and manage the business, social and economic objectives of the users, providers and hosts and to meet the challenges of scale and growth in large communities. Hence, the objectives of ROBUST are to find solutions for community risk management, large scale data management, models of community polity and politics, community simulation and community data analysis.

ROBUST analytical tools for risk and opportunity management in online communities are demonstrated for boards.ie, an Irish forum that is considered one of the largest indigenous websites online in Ireland. Presented demo provides real-time identification, analysis, forecasting and support for the treatment of risks and opportunities in an online community. The tools allow monitoring and are accessible via the web supporting communication of the monitoring information and the risks and opportunities status.
